Winners in the North Box Elder County Farm Bureau essay contest were announced this week by Mrs. Zundel, Ladies Farm La-De- Essay ne Bureau Auxiliary officer. Winners are: Annette Scott, first place Fielding school; Elisa Tello, second place McKinley school and Rodney Zundel, third place, Fielding school; all in Class Winners One. In Class Two competition Archie Tanaka of Bear River junior high took the honors. Class Three honors went to Shauna Dalton, first place; Val Garn, second place, and Brian Kerr, third place; all Named Plymouth Way Bear River high school. Class four was won by ne ZundeL Judges in the elementary school competition were counselor Willa Hurd and a teacher. All others were judged by Prof. Wendel Anderson of the Utah State University Political Science department. "The Farm Bureau would like to thank all those who participated," Mrs. Zundel said, "and especially those teachers who supported this La-De- project." Essays of the winners will be sent to the state Farm Bureau contest this month.
