Award. The award was as Utah's Poultryman of the Year. He has been a member of the Utah Wheat Growers Council since its and "played a leading role in the acquisition of the Creek Experimental Blue Farm... which wheatgrowers presented to the university a decade ago." The Ladies Farm Bureau in cooperation with Utah State University Extension Service, under the direction of Mrs. LaDean Zendel, is sponsoring a Farm Management Safety Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, November 12, at the Bear River high school Visual Aids Room at 8 p.m. Special guests for this meeting will be : Mrs. Lindsay, Bear River District Health, supervisor of nurses. She will present the "Latest trends in First Aid" and also "What items are needed for a Farm First Aid Kit." Mr. Harold Lindsay, USU Extension agent, will present "Safety First on the Farm" and will show a film entitled "Seeds of Safety." Everyone is invited to attend.
