Elder is currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Utter-da- y Saints in the New York Rochester Mission, which covers most of historic upNew York. He has state completed two months of his calrecently begun two-ye- ar ling. Prior to entering the mission, Elder Keele graduated from Bear River high school. He then spent four years in the Air Force, and served in Thailand and England, which allowed him the opportunity to occupy many important leadership positions in overseas branches of the Church. Elder Keele Is a member of the Promontory Ward. Because the Hill Cumorah Pageant, a tradition since 1937, is America's most famous and most colorful annual religious dramatization, and because of its message of joy and hope, participants regard it as a high honor and privilege to be chosen for roles. They serve in the Pageant cast at their own expense, rehearsing long hours in an they'll always exp-perie- cherish. . Former Residents Visit IDS Temple Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morris (formerly of Portage) went to the Logan Temple Tuesday. Among those attending their wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Howell, Mrs. Ethel Henderson of Robin, Idaho, Glen Morris, Mrs. Douglas Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. James Yarman of Clearfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Reese. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Morns and the young couple in California, vacationed visiting friends and relatives in East Whittier; they visited Disneyland and the Los Angeles Temple. Also stayed in Reno. Ceder City and in Sparks, Nevada with Mr. and Mrs. Gale Gibbs. Me and Mrs. Devere Harris and daughter, Lori, enjoyed Thursday and Friday at Henry's Lake and west Yellowstone. They attended the Ricks College family entertainment at the Play Mill Theater. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Craig Smith and daughter, Amie, in Rexburg, Idaho on their way Pageant is enacted on 25 stages on the western slope of Hill Cumorah, an area larger than a football field. The Ken Porritt family along with the Le land Andersons and the Dee Rams-del- ls spent a week together up in Alpine, Wyoming camping out along the Graves river. They returned Friday evening. The only thing that marred an otherwise lovely trip was that Mr. Porritt' s sister Mrs. Ellis Rhodes of Clearwas field ill gravely and they kept expecting word of her condition. Friafternoon they leaday rned that she had passed and her funeral was away on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Nelson accompanied the Porritt family to the services Saturday.
