Mrs. Chris Jensen was guest of honor at a steak dinner in Roy, Friday evening, which was prepared by her son Delbert. grandson Chris, and some special neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jensen of Roy and her husband. Chris, were in attendance, also. Mrs. Orion Snow also had a birthday and was given special loving care with cake and ice cream at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Litch-lo- rd and family. The James Holdaways attended the naming of a grand daughter, "Celeste Amy" in North Ogden, Sunday. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Holdaway. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bolingbroke and children, Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Holdaway and family, Brigham City, and Mr. and Mrs. Oleen and family of Holdaway Longmont, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Gene Geriech of Bur-le- y, who are Mrs. Richard Holdaways parents, were also there. Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Blackham were at the Dale Blackham home, Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Veda Jones came down from Malad to spend the two days with Mrs. Constant Dewey. The Bookmobile will ar- rive in our town on Tuesdays through the autumn, winter and early spring. It will be at the church from 9 a.m. until 10:15 on September 17 and each second Tuesday thereafter. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Spit-ti- er and daughter of Brig-ha- m spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hawkes. They all drove to Howell in the evening to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hawkes. Dr. and Mrs. Lamar Fryer arrived from Stockton, Calif, last week and visited with Mrs. Clarence Fryer. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Fryer in Tremonton. Rhodes Mr. and Mrs. arrived last week from Tahoe and are visiting with the Layne Gardner family. They are Mrs. Gardner's parents, and will continue on to Virginia to visit with another daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnson of Preston and Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd West. Deweyville are great grandparents. Primary will also begin this coming Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. in the ChapeL Lake Salt International, Monday morning, and sure hated to see him leave. He ks visited with the w arren in Ogden during his stay, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Shaffer of Logan came to see him while he was at home. So now it's back to the usual for us. we really do enjoy having him Some. Alan and Sue Perry now have two boys and two girls.
