July 25. at the Pioneer nursing home in Brigham City of natural causes. She was born on May 24. 1907 to Adolphus Peter and Gerhardine Jensen Forsgren in Brigham City. She married Hebert Enoch Sorenson on Dec. 20. 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died on April 14. 1939. Mrs. Morgan later married Ira Roy Morgan on Oct 22. 1942. in the Salt Lake LD S Temple, lie proceeded her in death. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. She was a member of the Daughters of the Itah pioneers and the Tremonton LDS First ward. She had served in the ward and stake presidency. Shehadal-s- o served as Relief Society ward director and visiting school teacher, Sunday teacher and dorm mother at Hicks college. her are four Surviving grandchildren, ltoger Mrs. Robert Manwaring. He was born April 27, 1888 in Yloz, Spain to Fran-si- co Thomas and Nicolasa Saturnina Pascal Olague. He Kunzler married Mary Chadwick June 23. 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She died Dec. 8, 1954. married Lillian Grace Kukula on June 29. 1959 in Salt Lake City. The He Clark was latter solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on March 10. 1961. Mr. Olague came to the United States in 1907. lie had worked as a farmer and marriage sheep rancher until his re- tirement in 1971. He was a high priest in the Park He fulfilled Valley Ward. an LDS mission in Spanish speaking Texas. He had served as Sunday school president and secretary. He had been president of three different quorums of seventies. Surviving are his widow of Park Valley, one son and one daughter. J. David Olague; Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Delia C. Hunt. Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Park Valley LDS chapel on July 29 at 1 p.m. Bishop Gary Rose officiated. Interment was in the Park Valley cemetery under the direction of Rogers Mortuary. Mortu- East Garland Gleanings By Antonio Olague, 86, of Park Valley died at his home July 25 after a lingering ill- fsse Petersen Mrs. Dora Shaffer accompanied Mrs. Iva Godfrey to Brigham Friday where they spent the afternoon with Mrs. Joan Gunnell and children. Mrs. Shaffer spent two days during the week in Malad with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Shaffer and family who had recently moved there from Tooele. Jan and Pam Woods of West Jordon Is spending the week here with relatives the Kenneth Shaffers and the Louis Larson's. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sorensen were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Sorensen and family and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Croft of Powell, Wyoming and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Andersen, Bothwell. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cole and two boys and three of Sunset grandchildren came to the Eph Peterson home on the 24th for lunch. The two boys Ronny and Bobby remained for their 10 day vacation. The Mutual Marrieds held a very successful lawn party on Saturday. They enjoyed a pot luck supper and games around the bonfire. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Oy-l- er accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Stacey Oyler and family on an outing on the 24th into the Uintahs. They went to Bear Lake Friday for boating and water skiing. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson and family of Bountiful visited Mrs. Leah Oyler Sunday. Mrs. Emery Marriott and daughter Camille Foster and her children were In Ogden Monday and visited Mrs. Carol Stanger and Mrs. Virginia Nowland, Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn King and Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn King and their families were at Twin Lakes on the 24th and came back to Tremonton for the fireworks. Mrs. Dean Capener and family Mrs. Esther Clough spent five days with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dilgen who are operating the 320 acre Utah State University Experimental farm in the Logan vicinity. To help her celebrate her birthday anniversary Saturday, the family of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Grove r took them to Bear Lake for the day, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Grove r, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Grov-e- r, Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Rock, Garland, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Clegg David' of Idaho Falls. and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Morgan of Riverton, enroute to Idaho Falls, called on the Eph Petersons Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Christensen and family came for their mother's Mrs. Al Fuhriman's birthday anniversary Tuesday and brought a cake, Margret was home and Mr. Frank Wood of FiFor elding joined them. brunch Saturday she had cousins, Mrs. Elmer Rinder-knecAdeena Bear, Viola Elm and Aletha Stenquist Bruce Christensen called long distance during the day. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Elmer have two grandchildren with them, Ray and Carol Johnson of Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. Eph Peterson and grandsons attended funeral services in Tremonton Monday for a sister-in-laMrs. Alfrieda Morgan. Mrs. Peterson attended the viewing Sunday evening. He was born Dec. 26, 1893. in kaysville a son of George F. and Louisa Eliza Bishop Bishop. Reared and educated in Kaysville. He was mirriedto Thelma Seal on May 14, 1918. in Salt Lake City . The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple Sept 28. 1934. She died June 22. Mr. Bishop was a veteran of World War 1 and was an 17. active member of the National Rifleman's Association. He owned and operated a farm for many years in Collinston. in the Beaver Dam LDi Ward, he had served as secretary and as a member of the Elders Quorum presidency. He had also served as a member of the YMMIA presidency and was a Sunday School, priesthood and home teacher. He was A high priest active In temple work. Surviving are one son and four daughters, CharlesSeal ah Bishop of Ogden; Mrs. B. (Mary H.) Wiggill and Mrs. Dean (Elizabeth Beth") Hess, both of Lay-to- n; Mrs. Robert B. (BarDe-rr- bara N.) Cooney, West Seneca, N. Y,; and Mrs. Watt (Rjth R.) Thomas of Belen. N. M; 28 grandchildren; Also surviving 21 are two sisters, Mrs. Irene Johnson and Mrs. Carl (Sarah "Bessie") Stimpson, both of Iayton. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a. m. In the Beaver Dam LDS Ward with Bishop Max Thatcher presiding. Burial was in the Cemetery. Under the direction of Rogers Mortuary of Tremonton. JENSEN Memorial services were held in Salt Lake City on Tuesday July 23, 1974, for Marvin Jensen who was born July 26, 1889, in Bennington, Idaho, a son of Mads Peter and Christina Hansen Jensen and died July20, 1974 in Salt Lake City. He attended school in Idaho and graduated from the Brigham Young College in Logan and the BYU in Pro-v- o. He fulfilled a mission in Texas for the LDS church, he was a veteran of World War L a school teacher, and lived in Brigham City for several years. After moving to Salt Lake City he worked at Hill Air Force Base. He served as a stake missionary, tought in the various church organizations and did temple work. He married Cathryn Thorley in the Salt Lake temple on December 1, 1920. He is survived by his widow, one son and two daughters, Richard A. Jensen of Salt Lake City, Mrs. David W. (Marva) Meyer of Spring-dal- e, Utah, Mrs. Dorothy L. Bower of Newport Beach, California, sixteen grandchildren and the following er verification as required therein. Harry W.
