San Pele. County Itah. to John and Serilda Jane Allred Hlain. She married Amasa Ie Hoy Madsen August 20. 19I3. The marriage was solemnized in ttte lxigan Temple October 24, I923. They lived in Spring City until moving to Tremonton in 1920, where they owned and operated a Mr. Madsen died farm. March 23. 1947. She was a member of tle Tremonton 1st Ward. She had served in Uie past as religion class teacher. Sunday School and Primary teacher, a member of the Primary presidency. Slie had served as lie lief Society president and teacher. Slie was a member of the Daughter of Hah Iloneers Midland Camp. Slie had worked for Hunt's Foods and was a cook at Mchinley School in Tremonton. Surviving are two sons and one daughter; A. Duain Mad-se- n, J. Hlain Madsen both of Tremonton and Mrs. John A. (Vion) Mainland of Kays-vill- e, 10 grandchildren and 4 great -- grandchildren. She was born Nov. 9, 1884, in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Alviris and Meade Lane Gleason. She was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley and attended the l.ogan LDS Academy. She was married to Jesse B. Grover June 12, 1907, in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in the LogHe died an LDS Temple. July 10. 1914. She was then married to John 0. Oyler, on April 3, 1929, in the LogHe died an LDS Temple. in 1950. She lived in East Garland until 1950. She then moved to Garland where she has resided since. She was a member of the Garland 2nd LDS Ward where she was past president of the YWMIA. He was a member of the Box Flder County Sheriffs Posse, and served on the Garland City Council. Survivors include his widow of Garland and three sons, Harvey W., Tremonton; Robert F., Bountiful; G. Clyde, Afton, Wyo.; ten grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. R. Y. (Fdythe) Clayton, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 28, in the Garland tabernacle. Burial was in the River-vie- w cemetery under the direction of Rogers Mortuary. GARDNER Leone Dewey Gardner, 79, of Honeyville, died Friday at the St. Benedict's Hospital of natural causes. He was born April 14, 1895, Sec. 36.
