Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Rhoses of Nevada and their granddaughter, Mile Bartholomew of Hawaii are at the Vaughn Rhodes home. Ursel is to enter the hospital in Ogden Monday for 84 ial Tuesday. It was to have been a picnic at the Brigham park but the weather didn't cooperate so it was held at the church. Vida Forsgren was brought out to enjoy the festivities. A lovely luncheon was served. Vina Munk was also able to be with us and it was so nice to visit with these old friends again. Mr. and Mrs. Geroge Bench and family spent the weekend at Lela Myers. On Sunday they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sorensen, Snowville. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Smith Jr. of Ogden and their son Brent and their granddaughter visited Sunday afternoon at the Earl Wood's. Maurine Fonnesbeck had as her visitors over the weekend her daughter, Marsha and her husband, Doug Allen and children. Sunday evening the family attended a missionary homecoming in the Tremonton 2nd Ward for Michael Hurd. He will be supervisor over three areas; Bacteriology, chemistry and product testing. The new factory will employ some 400 people. Pepperidge Farm Inc. was started in 1937, in Fairfield, Conn., by Mrs. Margaret Rud-ki- n. The present corporate offices are located in Norwalk, Conn. Pepperidge farm has grown into a national company and became a subsidiary of the Campbell Soup Co. in 1961. A list of products include: stufcookies, croutons, fings, breads, rolls, sweet rolls, crackers and snacks, frozen pastries, and frozen layer cakes. Mr. Taylor graduated from Weber State College, in 1972, with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry.
