Mrs. Stringham is Mrs. Taylor's sister and Shirley, Marjorie and Mrs. Cottam are explained in detail to the counand administrators. selors During the informative sessions held for the guests, their wives attended a presentation at the well equipped planetarium on the campus. They experienced a stimulating show of the solar system and star formations and an illustrated lecture on the science of Astrology. They also enjoyed seeing a film titled, Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Cochran have returned from a vacation trip to the northwest. They were gone for two weeks and visited with friends and relatives in Portland, Oregon and in Seattle, Bellevue and Richland, Washington. Theyenjoyed many sight-seeitrips and were fascinated with the ocean and the ships which they saw on the coast. They report that "Why Man Creates." Following the conference sessions the group enjoyed dinner in the Sky Room of the Union Building. The day concluded with the football game where the Weber Wildcats and the Aggies from Utah State University battled in the beautiful stadium at Weber. Mr. Bruce Jensen, son of ng nieces. ' Miss Shirley Stringham has been home from her studies in New York City. She returned to her Eastern location Tuesday. Darrell and his wife, Gloria were on vacation while Ethel was staying with the fam- Mrs. Rosel Zundel, who is serving with her husband in the Navajo Mission in Round Rock in Post Chinle, Trading Arizona, came to our area on Sunday of last week due to the death of her mother in Logan. She was Mrs. Jane Hess Nish. Mrs. Zundel arrived in Bountiful on Sunday in time to attend a Missionary Farewell for her grandson, Mike Zundel who is leaving to serve his mission in Switzerland. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nish Zundel. Mrs. Rosel Zundel has been spending a great deal of the time she was here with her father, R. T. Nish in Logan. She has also visited with her children and relatives in the area. She returned to her home in Arizona the early part of the week. On Saturday was night a family held at the horns of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bennett. There to be with their mother before she returned to Arizona were Mr. and Mrs. Bennett and their -- Shaunna Ed- ment Mrs. LaMar Bensen has returned home after spending two weeks in the McKay Hospital in Ogden. He has been named Supervisor of Master Planning for all State Institutions of Higher Education in the State of Utah. This appointment makes him responsible for all planning of physical building for Utah Colleges, Universities and Trade and TechHe was apnical Colleges. pointed by the Utah State Building Board which is directed by Glen R. Swenson. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Jensen was employed at the University of Utah as the University architect. During his service in this at the University he has been responsible for $1 million worth of construction. He has planned for doubling of the physical facilities at the University of Utah and has seen the enrollment grow from 11, 000 to 23,000 students.
