Mr, Johnson was born May 5, 1911, in Fielding, a son of Jarvls and Effie Busenbark Johnson. He was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley. He was married to Elinor Deakin on Oct 8, 1934, in Ma-la- d, 1961. Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Levan Ward chapel for Mrs. Vinnie Elizabeth Angell Memmott, 75. Mrs. Memmott died at an Ore m rest home Tuesday of natural causes. Mrs. Memmott was born May 17, 1898, at Blackfoot Idaho, a daughter of Helamen Basil and Elizabeth Myler Angell. She was married to James Arthur Memmott February 29, 1924, at Levan. He died Sept-2- 9, 1949. She spent the early part of Idaho. She died Oct 29, her life at Juab, and resided in He was married to Thel-m- a Levan the majority of her life- Coleman Christensen on July 22, 1963, in Downey, Idaho. He was a retired employe of Hill Air Force Base and had worked at the Utah-IdaSugar Co. in Garland for the past 15 ho years. He had lived in Tremonton, Ogden for 20 years, Monroe for three years, returning to Tremonton in 1971. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are his widow of Tremonton; one son, Ray L. Johnson Jr., Ogden; four stepsons and two stepdaughters, Christensen, Escalante, Utah; Jay Christensen, Steven Christensen, Mrs. Henry (Nancy) Armilo, all of Salt Lake Citv: LaMar Christensen. Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Hartley (Sha- ree) Nebeker, Monroe, Utah; 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Mar-vel- lis Johnson, Garland; Carly-l- e Johnson, Mrs. Ralph (Beth) Green, both of Tremonton; Vern B. Johnson, Brigham City; Mrs. Frank (Rhea) Sorenson, k, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Fielding Ward Chapel. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Earl Owen and daughters were in Plymouth for a birthday dinner honoring Mr. Dick Owen on his birthday. Present also for the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Deakin and sons, Brent and Craig, of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Owen and son, Shane, of Plymouth and Mrs. Nina Lamb. . They stayed for church and then left to go back. Mr. Jay Grove r was home this weekend to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Grover. He is working in Vernal on pipeline. The Fielding Primary is having a fun day on the 4th of July. There will be a flag raising ceremony at 8:30, a short parade at 9:00, followed by games and races at the church grounds. Everyone is asked to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the fun. Parents do plan to help your children be in the parade.
