To do this, the 218 chapter members sent 150 exhibitors to the fair with over 200 entries of crops, livestock, poultry, and farm mechanics. The chapter also won the Best Chapter Award, an award based on the amount of cash premiums collected by exhib itors for crops, beef cattle, and poultry. High on the list of winners was L.ynn iiaramoto, wno showed the grand champion fat barrow In the FFA divis ion. The animal went on to win grand champion of the fair. Richard Jensen showed the Columbia grand champion ewe and won first place in fitting and showmanship in sheep.
