Garland Relief Society Wins Roaster During UP&L Cooking School By Kssle Peterson The Relief Society was fortunate in winning the grand prize at the Utah Power and Light cooking school in Tremont.on Thurswith the day. The organization greatest percentage of enrollment was--apresent took the prize .which thr ail and rooster electric accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Evans and daughter Donna and son Marion and his boy friend of Norwalk, Calif., visited during the week with the J. P. Christensens. The Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood of Fielding were dinner guests of the Christensens Tuesday. Eugene Hansen and two boys of Salt Lake City came to the Warren Hansen home Friday evening. The boys remaining with their while Saturday grandparents Eugene was at the USU in Logan. They were joined by Mrs. Hansen Saturday and all went back to Salt Lake City together. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Adams and Thies-sen- s family took Mrs. Henreitta back to Salt Lake City after she had spent the week at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Cawan and two children of Payson, having taken their son to Logan to the university, visited the Roy Atkinsons and Harmon Piersons Sunday. Bernice Oyler with her sister Lucille Robbins visited another sister, Ada Dewey in Ogden Wednesday. The Vern Oylers were in Malta, Idaho Saturday where they put on a performance of their miniature rodeo. Mrs. Lee Allen and children visited Mrs. Glen Petersen in Lo gan Wednesday. Mrs. Lvle Johnson and children of Bountiful spent from Thursday to Saturday evening iwith Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oyler. Roy Oyler is spending the week at Rexburg, Ida., assisting Roy Jr in the potato harvest. Geneva and Orlene Sorensen and Shauna Curtis visited in Orange iriiio nvpr thp weekend. This is Shauna's home town. Dorris Peterson and Pearl Gro-vattended UEA in Salt Lake City the latter part of the week. Drive To Texas Mrs. Bill Potter accompanied her husband on a four day trip to Amorilla, Texas. They brought back a truck load of machinery for Burnice Hunsaker. Mrs. Annie Nielson and son Richard of Idaho Falls came to the L. M. Holman homo Sunday morning. They all drove to Ogden Sunday afternoon to see their sister May Bjorklund at the hospital. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Burnice Brough joined them to see colored slides Richard had taken during his recent mission in Sweden.
