Each child paid tribute in verse to his mother in a program. They then presented each mother with a candy tray they had made in Primary and a handkerchief. All the children joined together to surprise Mrs. Sorensen with a planter after which she served ice cream and cookies to the group. While Mr. and Mrs. Al Larsen of Seattle were here, they also visited with the Paul Larson family. Warren and Mahlon Christensen were part of the musical program in the Tremonton Second Ward. Fireside Group Hears Richard Petersen There were seventeen young people present at the Junior and Junior Gleaner Fireside held Sunday evening at the Sidney Sorensen home. Richard Petersen of Fielding was the guest speaker and showed some very interesting slides. Hot gingerbread with whipped cream and punch was their tasty dessert. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Holman were in Ogden Friday where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holman and Mrs. Mae Bjorklund. Hansen were in American Fork last week to attend the funeral of Mrs. Melissa Despain. After the funeral they drove to Blackfoot, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adams and family Mr. and Mrs. Golden Adams were in Salt Lake City Wednes day where they visited with relatives. Don Rhodes called his mother from New York on Mother's Day.
