Club Mothers Feted The Future Progress Guild entertained at a party in compliment to their mothers at the Bluebird in Logan Thursday afternoon. Club president Mrs. Bonnie Garn presided and Mrs. LaDene Zundel had charge of the program which consisted of a quartet number by the Rhoda Welling, Letha Petersen, Velda Wood and Dorothy Richards. They sang "I Wouldn't Trade the Silver In My Mothers Hair" and were accompanied by Mrs. Blanche Hansen. A Tribute to Mothers was given by Mrs. Nancy Leav-it- t with Mrs. Lettie Leavitt giving a response. Ann Wood sang "Angels". Members of the club presented their mothers with beautiful potted plants. Packer attended Sunday School at the 21st Ward in Logan Sunday morning to hear their son, Thayne Packer, who was the guest speaker, who gave a talk on "Mothers Day".
