Show Tremcnion. Utah Thursday September 1. 1955 THE LEADER, Social Events 21 jji Club News ANNIVERSARY More than three hundred guests attended the Golden wedding reception held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Jensen in Bear River City. The Jensen home, situated on a sloping hill facing a bend in the Bear River, with its wide lawns and grove of Catalpa trees, rustic seats and rock walls, formed a picturesque setting for the reception. A bronze plaque on the front porch told visitors that the house stands on the site of the ferryboat .landing. Huge baskets of white and gold gladioli on the porch offered a fitting approach to the reception hall, where large golden bells denoted the occasion. The living room was a bower of flowers. A wedding cake was the center of decorations in the dining room where refreshments were served from a beautiful table, covered by a madiera cloth from Cairo, Egypt. Golden candles and white crysantha-mum- s floated in crystal bowls completing the theme. Indians from the Intermoun-tai- n School, in costume, entertained with tribal dances and songs on the lawn during the afternoon. Music during the reception consisted of violin and piano music by Mrs. Francis Kirkham and daughter, Myrna Mae of Salt Lake City, vocal solos by Mrs. Lavar Brough, Rusty Jensen and Mrs. Dale Madsen. In charge of serving were Mrs. Andrea Hansen, Miss Dena Christensen, Lorna Davis, Betty Archibald Jensen, Margretta Stander and Carol Ann Barlow. at the punch bowl Presiding were Mrs. Mont Hansen and Dr. Mary P. Reeder. The decorating was done by Mrs. Lavon Crysal. Mrs. Jensen wore a blue lace gown with white orchid corsage and gold center.
