Program, showing colored slides of Israel. Musical duet "Indian Love Call" was played on the piano and organ by Mrs. Wynn Hansen and Mrs. Ferrell Bess. Mrs. C. W. Bourne was chairman for the program and Mrs. Clark Itudd presided. Hostesses were Mrs. Clifford Welling, Mrs. Dwight Hansen, Mrs. Gale Welling, Mrs. Carl Wilcox and Mrs. Ross Rudd. A lovely luncheon was served to eighty-onmembers and guests. e Ends Navy Duty Douglas Coombs, who has spent the past four years in the U. S. Navy has received his honorable release and is now at home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Coombs. During the past three years Douglas has been at New Mexico, San California and the Ysidro. Hawaiian Islands. Miss Rheumina Udy of OgcTen spent the weekend at the home of her mother, Mrs. Rheumina Udy and family. Mrs. Laraine Wood and son, Bruce, of Brigham, spent Saturday with, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Hess and family. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Rudd and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Udy spent Tuesday evening with relatives at Ogden. Mrs. Glen Wood, Mrs. Ray Wood, Mrs. Wayne Garn and week are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Garn of Seattle, Wash. Thursday evening Mrs. Garn entertained at a family party in compliment to Wesley Garn who was celebrating his birthday anniversary.. A lovely hot supper was served and the evening spent in a social. Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Richards and baby spent Saturday visiting with Mrs. Richards' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Gill and family at Preston. Birthday Party Mrs. Jay Bourne accompanied by Mrs. LaVan Hunsaker of Honeyville, Mrs. Merle Anderson of Howell, Mrs. Lowell Vance and Mrs. Cifford Vance of Tremonton attended a party at the home of Mrs. LaMont Vance at Logan Tuesday. The occasion was Mrs. LaMont Varwe's birthday anniversary. A lovely luncheon was served. Mrs. Lettie Leavitt, Mrs. Ettie Rudd and Mrs. Faye Fryer attended funeral services for J. L. Overmyer at Ogden Wednesday. Mr. Overmyer was Mrs. E. C. Masons father. Mrs. Mason has been spending the past week with her mother at Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Sutherland and son Glade have been spending a week at Las Vegas, Nev., where they visited with Mr. Sutherland's sister, Mrs. Arlo Cleveland and family. Visiting with relatives here during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Farnsworth of Temple City, Calif. Mesdames Edith Udy, Sara Moss, Madge Anderson, Rhoda Welling, Alta Johnson and Secrist spent Friday even, at Logan where they enjoyed ing a luncheon party. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kent and family returned home Monday after spending a week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Kent at Pocatello and at the George Parry thome at Malad. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Effie Johnson last week were Mrs. Effie Deakin of Torrey and Miss Nedra Deakin of Salt Lake City. Road Crew Party Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Garn and iftr. and Mrs. Ray Wood attended Open House for the New State Road District Office at Ogden Thursday afternoon. In the evening they attended a State Road Workers party. Dan Garn underwent a major operation at the Dee Hospital at Ogden Friday.
