Von Jarrett, agricultural engineer and machinery specialist at Utah State University, offers several tips for getting your farm and ranch implements into shape. Check implements for missing or broken parts and buy or order replacements now so you don't have any delays when spring rolls around. Also look for worn parts, Jarrett advises. Remember to wipe all grease fittings clean before applying the grease gun. Otherwise you may force dirt directly into the bearing along with the grease. Check implement tires carefully. After several months of not being used, repairs may be necessary. Go over all your machinery and tighten bolts, nuts and capscrews that have worked loose. Jarrett says this simple precaution can prevent hay-rak- EASTER BUNNIES for Sale. Call Mar. 27 Chg.
