Rasmus scn will assist Coach Hughes in basketball and handle boys physical education classes during the winter months. Bear River's new football mentor attended the USAC at Logan where he played halfback on the football team one year and quarterback two years, later being named quarterback on the Aggie team that won the conference title. During the summer months he played baseball pitching for the Brigham Peaches. Rasmusscn received his degree from the USAC. Mr. Rasmussen then coached basketball at the Box Elder high until 1V41 when he was called into the armed service. His basketball team played in the finals at the state tournament in 1941. Coach Rasmusscn's experience while in the army has been mainly in the receational and athletic fields In 1944 he coached a winning basketball squad at Fort Bliss, Texas.
