Mrs. Waples was formerly Miss Mildred Watland of this place and Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Watland are elated over their first grandson. Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Hubbard of Saw telle.'j California, and Mr. and Mrs. R. U Fishburn, of Brigham were guests at the A. N. Fishburn home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Cornwall spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Christensen. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Christensen, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sandall and family were in Salt Lake City last Saturday and Sunday, transacting business and visiting relatives. Mr. Sandall reports he is glad ha is living in Tremonton instead of the larger tihfm. ' ITMflliFi they accompanied their nephew, Raymond Petersen and Jane Prescott, of Wendell, Idaho, through the Logan Temple. After their marriage they visited in Logan with relatives until Saturday when Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pe terson entertained at a wedding sup per. Some twenty guests partook of the bounteous supper prepared by the hostess. Last Thursday the Hansen reunion was held here at the Chapel. Nearly one hundred relatives enjoyed the pro gram and dinner which started at 12 o'clock. Relatives from Brigham City Ogden and Malad partook of the bounteous dinner prepared. There and daughter, Ida, of Twin Falls, Ida- ho, enroute to Cedar City, visited at Robthe home of his brother-in-laert Allen, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kamp and son, Fred, of San Francisco, Cal., called at the T. R. Welling homo during the week. They were enroute to Iowa and are friends of Mr. Welling. Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Dustin have moved into the Abe Leffer home. Mrs, Earl Hales entertained at a children's party Monday for her son, Wayne. Miss Verian Andersen spent the week end in Tremonton with her friend, Marella Thompson. A number of our people greatly enjoyed the chautauqua at Tremonton last Thursday and Friday. We must congratulate the band for bringing home the beautiful flag. Also Verian Anderson on her reading and Norma Andersen on the piano. Both received second and third place.
