Nationally, sales of E and H Savings Bonds rose to $7.4 billion for the first eleveki months of 1978, November sales alone to- tailed $600 million, slightly above last year. Total Savings Bonds holdings have grown over $4 billion since a year ago. Sixteen and a half million Americans buy Savings Bonds, including nine and a half million purchasing Bonds through the Payroll Savings Plan. With the end of the year here, all Volunteer Chairmen want to remind employers that U.S. Savings Bonds are most appropriate for year-enbonuses. This announcement was made today by Symphony President, Wendell J. Ashton. In charge of arrangements in Ogden is Thomas J. Moore, president of the Ogden Symphony Guild. General Chairman for Julie Andrews' appearance in June will be R. Don Cash, vice president of exploration and drilling for Mountain Fuel Supply Company. Proceeds from the June concerts will be used as matching funds for National Endowment for the Arts and Mellon Foundation Challenge grants. Every $3 raised by the Symphony will be matched by $2 from the foundations. Mr. Ashton said that gift certificates for the Julie Andrews concerts will go on sale at the Utah Symphony Box Office on Friday, December 15th. The Julie Andrews concerts were arranged after approximately six months of negotiating and schedule juggling by Shirl H. Swenson, Symphony manager. Ticket prices for the Salt Lake concerts will range from $6 to $17.50. There will be special $100 patrons tickets for the June 20th concert which entitle will holders to attend an elegant buffet with Julie Andrews in the Hotel Utah Grand Ballroom supper-receptio- n following the concert. Additional and information tickets for the Salt Lake concerts are available at the Utah Symphony Box Office, 55 West First South. In Ogden, tickets may be ordered at the Ogden Symphony Guild office at 2580 Jefferson Avenue. Primary Henry Grant Bozarth, infant son of Peggy Sue Bozarth, died December 13, 1978, in a Petersburg, Alaska hospital. He was born December 13, 1978. Survived by mother; grandparents, William and Margaret Bozarth, Petersburg, Alaska; Robert and Betty Bonner, Las Vegas, Nevada; and Mrs. Loreta Burt, Beaver. Matthew was born October 1, 1978 in the Beaver Hospital. He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Ryan, Randy and Eric; grandparents, Roy and Mildred Yardley. Hal and Gwen Lund, all of Beaver. Great Grandmother, Mrs. Lita Cooley, Cedar City, Utah. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 16 in the Beaver First Ward Chapel. Prelude and postlude music was played by Ireta Baker. Don Baldwin, a counselor in the First Ward Bishopric, conducted the services. Family prayer was offered by Gary Lund. A vocal solo, "My Daddy's Little Boy", was sung by April Yardley, accompanied by Marilee Eyre. Opening prayer was given by Floyd Yardley. Bishop's remarks were given by Bishop Sheldon H. Roberts. A vocal duet, "Let the Little Children Come," was sung by Chris Vickers and Gloria accompanied by Ireta Baker. Concluding speaker was Bishop John Linton. Closing prayer was given by Calvin Yardley.
