We ail know there is not joy throughout the world and not everyone is merry. Not everyone holds warm feelings for those around them. Taking these things into consideration. Christmas is a time for renewal of hope, faith, and personal change. Nothing is ever hopeless. Even the starkest life can have moments of mirth. We can learn to understand why some people are without emotional warmth. Hoping and praying are irrevocably bound together. Where there is one there must be the other. When life is especially difficult small things which I seldom appreciate may mean a and you great deal. People without emotional warmth have been deprived of warmth and love at some time in their life. . Never cease to hope and pray. Never refuse to give because you think your gifts are too small. The gift of self is very large. Never cease to give smiles, kind words, praise and a hug or a pat. Christmas can be a time to renew all these things. time-wor- n VFW Party Sincere appreciation to everyone who has helped us through this lime of sorrow. Having served with Drew on the County Planning Commission, where he sits as a;lvi:-or- , have been impressed with his sincerity of purpose. He is a thorough, trained professional in his field. The worst thing that can be said about him is that he sees so many problems affecting hcahh and sanitation, he freis and worries about how to solve them all. I well remember my first two years in Beaver, a decade ago, when we ran into similar difficulties. Coming fresh from the big city, naturally, one encounters a number of strange sights. Dead 1 cattle carcasses being dragged down the center of the road in front of our campground by a pickup truck, for example. Cattle running through our front gates and stomping grass and breaking down young trees, for another. Water ditches that ran through neighboring corrals and then deposited the residue on our side of the fence. Manure spreaders that always seemed to go into action on warm days in spring, just when campground guests were checking in. The reactions to these problems ranged from panic to fury, over the vears. However, we can truthfully say th3t many, if not most of the problems above, are disappearing. Progress is being made. There remains the problem of outlying cabins andor homes occasionally sneaking in a drum, instead of a septic tank. Because this affects my own drinking water, as well as the health of my family, and yours, and everyone's, I am happy to support Drew Larson in this n f , 4s ft f Jessie Smith created Chris! mas by decorating her home plants. Mr. Eldridge suggested taking one row out of the middle section and one and one half out of each side to have 33 inch back to back seating. He demonstrated the chair, frames, hinges, etc. William W. Firmage reported he had contected a theatre supply company in Salt Lake. They have auditorium scats also. The board will wait until the next board meeting to make a decision on the infection is much more likely to spread in modern society. Some things MUST change! In no way do I criticize those who say that these problems cannot be solved all in one year. That is certainly true, and I believe it when Chad Johnson, County Commissioner, states that the county is well aware of the problems it faces, problems which must eventually be addressed, and which the county fully expects to solve. Drew Larson came in here full of zeal and worthwhile ideals, and it seems to me his only sin has been to take his job seriously. V. Lee . Mr. Marshall asked permission for the football coaches to attend a Stovall Football Clinic on January 26th, 27th, and 28th. William W.
