Roy Yardley of the Third Ward Bishopric was in charge. Prelude an d postlude music was played by a granddaughter, Rhoda Goodwin. Prayer at the Mortuary was by Jack Goodwin. Invocation by Lorenz Wal-boVocal duet "Let The Little Children Come," Carol Smith and Esta Cox, accompanied by Clara Carter. The obituary was given by Bishop Howard Bradshaw, who also read "A Tribute to Mary Goodwin" written by Mrs. Mar gery Mackerell. Mr. Whatcott has taught three years in the elementary schools in Vernal, Utah; Six years at Millard High School; four years at Millard High School as counselor and three years as Principal at Millard Junior High School. He will be the Principal at Beaver High School this year. m - - lMJ! LYNN R. BRADSHAW Lynn was born on July 3, 1940, in Beaver, Utah, to LaVel and Ilynn Bradshaw. He attend ed Belknap and was graduated from Beaver High School. He also grauated from College of Southern Utah with an Associated Science degree in Agriculture in 1964, and received his bachelor of science degree from Utah State University in this Education Elementary spring. He also graduated from the LDS Institute at USU. Lynn served a mission in the West Central States for the church in After" returning from his mis sion he married the former Glenna" Harris of Beaver. After graduation, he served six months with the National Guard at Fort Ord, California. Mr. Tuft is a graduate of BYU with a major in Physical Education and a minor in the Social Sciences. Don has had three yearls teaching and coaching experience. His first assignment was Lincoln County School, in Nevada He coached basketball and baseball and helped w;th football. His second assignment was Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah. At Viewmont he was the back-fiel- d coach in football and swimming coach. The thing Don is most proud of is his fr.mily. He and Nadene have three children, Gregory 4, Vivian 3, and Blain 2. Nadene also attended BYU and received her nursing degree. She ha practiced periodically for over three years. Don served an LDS mission in the Central States. Both Don and Nadene are happy for the chance to live in Beaver and want very much to be a part of the community. Durfee of Almo, Idaho. She has just received her B.S. D:gree in Homemaking Education at BYU. Her previous schooling includes Almo Elementary, Raft River High School and Burley High School She is a graduate of Burley High School. Miss Durfee has also befn an employee of the Idaho Bank and Trust, Walker Bank, and Central Bank of Provo. She recently filled an LDS Mission to Scotland. She has attended San Bernardino Valley College and Brigham Young University, She majored in Art and received a minor in Speech. Miss Blake has had exper ience as a teacher's aid, as well as a cashier and bookkeeper, Her hobby is riding horses. ' She has worked as a riding counselor in the Riverside, California area. She will teach bpeech, Art and Physical Education at Mil ford High School - re? Yiv was born in Circlevville, Utah and later moved to Milford, Utah. She graduated from Milford High School and attended Pro-Uta- After Beaver High School. graduating from high school he attended the College of Southern Utah for a year. He was majoring in veterinary medicine. He was then called on an LDS mission. While serving in the mission field, he decided the greatest calling is that of teaching. After serving on a mission, he joined the National Guard and served six months of active duty in Fort Ord, Calif. At the present time he is still serving in the National Guard as a personnel clerk. Darrell graduated from the College ot Southern Utah in the spring of 1966 with a Bach He elor of Science Degree. was then hired by the Tooele School District and taught in th West Elementary School, in the fourth grade. This was a challenging class and held som exciting moments for the stuteacher and his thirty-si- x dents. Some of his hobbies include arrowcollecting reading, heads, hunting and fishing, & woodwork. His summers ars spent on the farm where he devotes most of his time to irrigating and pitching hay. Darrell js going to teach th ; Third and Fourth Grade at the Minersville Elementary ij School.
