Show BEAVER, UTAH 84713, THURSDAY, VOLUME 62, NUMBER 33 Minutes Of August County Commission Mary Goodwin Funeral Services Meeting Friday, August 18 The Board of County Commissioners of Beaver County met at 10:00 a.m. of this date School Starts Aug. 28 BEAVER VALLEY Schools in the Beaver Coun- Frances Williams Mary Goodwin, 90, died Tuesday, August 15, 1967 at the Milford Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Goodwin was born in Beaver on March 14, 1877 to Nephi and Martha Myers Williams She married George Albert Goodwin on the 29th of April 1846. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George L D S Temple. Mr. Goodwin died February 6, 1936. "Aunt Mary" as she was called, was an employee of the Beaver Woolen Mills and was an accompanist for many dances in Beaver for years. She was an active member of the LDS church,, serving in the Primary Association for 75 years. She was Stake Primary President from 1931 to 1938 She served as Church on Beaver Stake history from the beginning to the present . She was a charter member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and was a reporter for The Beaver Press for forty years. Aunt Mary also served as a mid-wif- e for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Estella Walbom, Salt Lake; four sons, George Carlos, Milford; Harland Riverside, Calif.; Ray W. (Dick), Pioche, Nev.; Ralph B., Provo, Utah. 43 Twenty grandchildren, great grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Goodwin of Beaver. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Beaver First-Thir- d Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Beaver, Thursday from 7 til 9 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 noon until time for services.
