Show Fred W. Vincent Dies In Oregon THE BEAVER (Utah) PRESS THURSDAY, AUGUST 3, 1967 Lund Bros. "Beaver's Dep't. Store" AUGUST3-4-- 5 Funeral services were held Friday, July 8, in Portland Oregon for Fred W. Vincent, 81, who died July 5, 1967 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Vincent was the husband of Clara Woodhouse, formerly of Beaver. He was a long time news writer and advertising man. He began his newspaper career as a reporter for the San Fransisco Call He later moved to Portland and joined the staff of the In Portland he and his wife operated the Vincent & Vincent Advertising Agency. Mr. Vincent was a flier with the Navy during World War I and during W.W.II was assistant director of the Decentralization Bureau in Washington, D. C. He never lost his interest in aviation and owned and operated his own planes in the Northwest. North Creek Notes By Emma Green John D. Wilcock of Milford was a visitor Sunday at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Green and Mrs. Emma Green. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Pulski and four children of Salt Lake were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs George Boyter on Wednesday for dinner. Mrs. George Boyter celebrated her birthday on Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ben Merchant anj Darrel were there. Mr. and Mrs. Drury Dalley and son Bruce spent the 24th holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs Fred Puffer, Sr. Mrs. Stella Merchant and son Darrel visited in Milford Saturday at the home of Oren Puffer. The Top Pilot Class was welcomed into the Trail Builders. Mrs. Ha Messinger, Yvonne Low, Irene Cox, Roberta Stoker, Maurine Gale, and Syble Smith prepared the lunch con sisting of hamburgers, potato chips, pickles, punch and choco late cake.
