No words can express th gratitude I feel for the tremendous efforts which saved the homes of myself and iny neigh bors. To all involved THANK YOU Mrs. Hattie Schwab family, of San Fransisco. have been vacationing in the Northern part of the state and are now spending some time with his mother, Mrs. Kathleen Farnsworth. Delbert Smith, a brother of Kathleen also visited recently. Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Olsen and family and Miss Sylvia Yardley are guests of their parents this' week. They will spend some time at their ranch at Hatch before returning to Salt Lake. Mr and Mrs. Pat Lindsay and family had a short vacation In Provo. The family went on a hike to Timpanogus and visited other scenic attractions. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Low of Salt Lake were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low They were returning from a vacation at Richfield and Fish Lake. Mrs. Low is formerly from Hurricane. They had left their children with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Spend- love returned home after spending a week in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Wood- house returned home, Tuesday after spending ten days in Snowflake Arizona. They were there to attend a family reunion. Later, he was called as counselor in the High Priests Quorum He worked with the Senior Aaronic Priesthood members for 13 years and as a class teacher in. priesthood, Sunday School and MIA. In November 1961 he and his wife, Martha Dean, were called to fill a mission among the Indians of the South West Indian Mission. After four months, in addition to proselyting, they were called to represent the Mission President in the Branches of the Mission in New Mexico. They held this position until their release in May 1964. Since returning home the Paices were called as Stake Missionaries. They have labored together in various church assignments for the past fifty years. C. Edwin Paice Ordained Stake Patriarch At the morning session of the Beaver Stake Quarterly Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, held August 14, 1966, C. Edwin. Paice was sustained as Patriarch of the Stake and ordained by Elder Marion G. Romney. Previous to this calling Mr. Paice has held many positions in the various organizations of the church. July 23, 1916 he was called to be a High Counselor and a High Priest by ordained Joseph Fielding Smith. In August of 1925 he was sustained as a counselor to Bishop Wesley W. Farrer; in Aug. 1937, he was ordained a bishop under the hands of Elder Rud- - ll.J Is' llynn Bradshaw d Mr. and Mrs. Aagard of visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don Baldwin on Sun. Mrs. Phil Roberts is visiting her daughter, Carol, and family at Seattle, Washington for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crane and children of McGill, Nevada here. spent the week-en- d Miss Helen Kelsey is home after spending several months in a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Myers at New spent the week-en- d Plymouth, Idaho with their children. Mrs. Jennie Marquardson has had her daughter, Violet, of Ogden, Utah as a guest. Mrs. Thurman Eyre is in Whittier, California helping to welcome a new grandson.born to Madalyn and David Gale. This is the Gale's first child. Mrs. Lillie Lambson has visited in Springvile, Utah with her daughter, Katherine Brinkerhoff. Mrs. Armina Banks spent several days in the hospital in Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smith and family of Las Vegas. Nevada have been guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aubra Myers. The Literary Club held a party Wednesday night at the Beaver County Livestock grounds. Their husbands were invited as guests. A number of people frem low over-a- ll cost. She has 29 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 2 great-gregrandchildren. She was a charter member of the Belknap Camp DUP and has been a Relief Society visiting teacher for 42 years. Five of her eight children were present for the occasion.
