They met at the church at 10 a.m. Cars were provided to take the ladies to the Park. Officers in charge were Mabel Smith, Vilda Esplin, Ireta Morris and Gladys Smith who had the days activities well planned. The group was divided into "Picnic Pineys" and "Skunks". Competative games were played throughout the day with each receiving points for winning. At the end of the party the 'Picnic Pineys" won. Pot luck dinner was served at noon and a fine variety of food was enjoyed.. Prizes for "Early Riser", Gladys Oakden, "Biggest Posterity" Pheobe Warby, "Tallest Lady" Iretta Morris, "Short est Lady" Lois Messinger and "Youngest Lady" Reah Fran-cowere given. Mrs. Esplin gave me this report with the remark. "We certainly had a good time even with only 21 present. THANK YOU To all who helped in the search for the plane which was lost last November 14th. After a noon dinner, the group enjoyed visiting. Plans were made for a reunion of the family next year on the second Sunday in August in Beaver.
