Show Kitchen Korner Strawberry season to bring jam recipe m m m Residents complain of barking dogs The strawberry season is upon us and a finger lickin good recipe for Frozen Strawberry Jam has been submitted by Rose Crandall of Helper. The recipe has a plus you don't have to spend hours over a hot stove to prepare it! Busy homemakers are always looking for short- cuts and money-savinrecipes. Strawberries soon will be cheap and plentiful, so whip up a batch of Strawberry Jam and freeze it. It can be served anytime, winter or summer! Frozen Strawberry Jam g to 2 mashed C. 3 strawberries to 4 r X and strawberries. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let stand. Boil for one minute: 1 C. water 1 pkg. MCP Pectin Pour hot pectin over fruit and stir. Put jam in plastic cups or freezer cups. Leave at room temperature for 24 hours.
