Show 4-H'- i . i. Lina and Lino Giordano, residents of Italy, are in Helper for two weeks visiting with Angelo and Helen Giordano and other relatives. John Shriner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shriner, is home after being discharged from the U.S. Navy. He served in the Navy for four years. Visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. ' Jack Forsythe, for ten days is Mr. and Mrs. Bill Frank of New Orleans, La. Mrs. Frank is the former Merlene Forsythe. Weekend campers and fishermen in the Joe's Valley area were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gonzales and. family, Mr. and Mrs. John Costello and Mr. and Mrs. Bink Tolich of Kenilworth. A farewell dinner was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Casey honoring their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Cherry of Vernal, who are moving to Madison, Wis., for a year. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hill and family of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Casey of Orem. Visitors for a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Trujillo were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shank of Indianola, Neb., grand- ..i ..( worked at Walseberg, Colo, from 1921 to 1973. People from five states attended the reunion. The Chesniks also visited in Raton, N.M., traveled to Durango to see Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bertol before going home. On their return the couples stopped in Cedar City to attend the Southern Utah Medical Convention and also attended the Shakespearean Festival. While on their trip, the Veltri's left their daughter with her grandmother, Mrs. Iola Cobain, and Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Rachele. Mrs. Cobain then accompanied then back to Salt Lake to spend a few days. Family Reunion Mr. and Mrs. Earl Magann recently attended a family reunion at the home of her oldest daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Carter and family of Granger. They celebrated of Mr. and the Mrs. Dick Pacheco and son Paul, who traveled from Oak View Calif., where Dick is employed as a forest ranger. The Maganns haven't seen their son in six years. Blain Mecham started his practice on August 3, in the shop formerly operated by Dick Wilson of Kenilworth who resigned recently. Mr. Mechanr, who holds a license for all branches of g barbering including and toupee work, has practiced in the Rose Park area in Salt Lake, Heber and Vernal, Duchesne before coming to Helper. He was born in Duchesne where he attended high school and elementary school. In 1969 he entered He barber college. graduated in 1970 and received his Master Barber certification in 1973. The Duchesne man is married to the former Betty Shelton. The couple have six children. The Modern Barber Shop building is owned by John Zupon of hair-stylin- JAN TURRI basketball teams. In 1971, he graduated from Brigham University with bachelor's degree in Young statistics. Mr. Redd is the owner of Dairy Queens in Monticello and Blanding, and is a partner in the G&D Cattle Ranch, Monticello. No definite wedding date has been set. Helper. Mitchell, and also with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sterlekar of San Mateo, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Aulbach of Garfield spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Tommasina Fabrizio. Mrs. Fabrizio, accompanied by her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mollner of Orem, and a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Barber also of Orem, just returned from San Francisco where they attended the wedding of her grandson. They traveled back by Lake Tahoe where they attended a Tom Jones performance. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dimick celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on August 10. Accompanied by their son Robert, they traveled to Salt Lake to celebrate and visit with their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Saccomanno and granddaughter, Kristy.
