At the same time, they intend to hold Sears up as an example to all the world of how American institutions and American people can prosper in an atmosphere of freedom. Maxey Jarman, chairman of GELXESCO, Inc., Nashville, Tennessee, and chairman of the Sears 75th Anniversary Committee comprised of the heads of 25 companies, said at a luncheon meeting' here that a several months' long; anniversary tribute to Sears "will set down for all the world to see America's own 'party line' the 'party line' of free men and free institutions."
