The investigation revealed his girlfriend stole it and wrote checks for more than $700. She was charged and will appear in court. Another checkbook was stolen from the dormitory area. Copies of the checks were obtained, and a friend was arrested for fraud, forgery and theft. In another incident, security police officials arrested a civilian for stealing a military member's checkbook. During the investigation, other checks from another military member were found. The civilian will appear in magistrate court. Also, a computer was stolen from Bldg. 849. The incident is under investigation. A individual reported losing $200 in cash outside the north side of the American First Credit Union. On July 26 at 4 p.m., a suspect was observed picking up the money. A description was obtained and officials are attempting to locate the suspect. Police are looking for two black males in a mid-siz- e brown vehicle.
