The flowers are blooming, the grass is green and security police are out and about. Have you notice the new gate guards and bicycle patrol? The 75th Security Police Squadron now has a gate guard section headed by SSgt. Harry Crawford. Members of this group were selected on the basis of professionalism, appearance and communications skills. The guards can be distinguished by the special laced boots, gloves and ascots they wear. And, they are out of the guard shacks and ready to answer your questions. The Security Police Bicycle Patrol will once again be seen 24 hours a day riding around mainly in the housing areas. Last year crime in the housing area was reduced 36 percent and the group is eager to make an even bigger impact this year. For more information about the gate guard section, call Crawford, Ext.
