"Even though our name will change, our goal of providing maximum value by exceeding customers' expectations of quality and fair pricing will remain constant," said Col. Stephen R. Wingfield, Air Force MWRS Agency commander. The MWRS slogan, "Doing Good Things for People," will stay. MWRS officials said it echoes the Air Force's emphasis on quality of life programs and taking care of people first by providing the services they want and deserve. Services exists to contribute to readiness and improve productivity through programs promoting fitness, esprit de corps and quality of life for Air Force people, officials said. They added that services' vision is to become the undisputed leader in the Defense Department by providing expertly managed programs and quality services while demonstrating the highest level of integrity and stewardship. "We are here to support Air Force people in achieving this vision and it is our obligation to live up to their expectations," said Lezy. "The name clearly shows that this is our business." To obtain a voucher, a woman should take her Air Force Form 422, physical profile serial report, to her orderly room after it is signed by a doctor or certified health care practitioner. The orderly room will issue an Air Force Form 656 on which maternity items to be issued by the military clothing sales store must be indicated. First sergeants will verify that mandatory uniform items are checked on the form. The member may then choose any maternity uniform conducive to her job. Items not available will be ordered and charged to her account. Partial issues will not be allowed on the voucher when items are backordered, officials said. A copy of the Form 656 will be placed in the member's military pay records and she will not be eligible for another maternity clothing allowance for three years.
