Retirees and their spouses from all branches of the military are invited. Registration is from 9:30-1- 0 a.m. at the base theater for a full day of activities. William Porter, chairman, Air Force Retiree Council The keynote speaker for this year's Military Retiree Appreciation Day luncheon is Maj. Gen. William Porter, an Air Force retiree. The general will share his thoughts on the future of retirees, with a question and answer period at the end. Porter retired from active duty in 1992 and was appointed chairman of the Air Force Retiree Council that same year. Prior to his retirement, the general was director of personnel plans, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force.
