Worth $175, it disappeared in one-hahour. An airman first class said someone stole both outside mirrors from the government vehicle he had been driving. He said he parked at Bldg. 800 before going home and when he returned in the morning the mirrors, worth $120, were gone. A civilian reported his camera stolen from a booth at the base open house. He said he and his family were viewing a booth display in Bldg. 1, left, and when they discovered the camera had been left behind, returned to find it gone. An airman first class reported two hubcaps stolen from his car, parked in Parking Lot 1. A major reported his son's bicycle stolen from the carport of their e home. He said his son had left it unsecured. A master sergeant reported the same misfortune; his son's bike was stolen from Parking Lot 1 during the carnival. The boy left the bike next to a booth, and when he returned it was gone. The same outcome befell another boy's bike, reported stolen by his technical sergeant father. The airman was fined $480, plus $120 in legal fees, and spent two days of a y jail term in the clink. He was also placed on one year's probation and was ordered to perform 32 hours of community service. A staff sergeant was arrested by local police for speeding and DUI. No more facts were provided. Two airmen were charge with possession of alcohol by minors when police were anonymously tipped that they were drinking in their dormitory room.
