Show CITYCOUNCIL Ciity council members met at the city hall Wednesday evening for their regular semi-monthly business meeting according to Eugene Morris, recorder. William R. fWinget of Denver, Colo, representative for Washington Wash-ington National Life Insurance Co. which handles the group insurance in-surance on the city council and employees, was present at the meeting to explain the increased insurance benefits that are to take effect on September 1st. Renewal of the lease on the lower Bingham playgrounds by U. S. Smelting Refining and Mining Min-ing Co. was approved. The recorders office in tne city hall will be closed today and tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. The office will be open as usual on Monday morning, Mr. Morris said. . |
