TAG leads in grads Tactical Air Command led the Air Force this fall with the highest number of Community College of the Air Force graduates of any major command. In the October class, 769 graduates were TAC members. The Strategic Air Command placed second with 751 grads and the Air Training Com- mand rounded out the top three with 717. The number of TAC CCAF graduates is the direct result of a TAC initiative to promote participation in the CCAF, according to Gene Novikoff, an education specialist in TAC's Office of Education. "The number of graduates also results from the growing realization by TAC personnel of the importance of education in the technologically oriented Air Force of today," he said. TAC's graduates joined with other active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve enlisted people from around the world to form the largest CCAF class in history. A total of more than 5,200 airmen earned career-relate- d associate in applied science degrees from CCAF this fall. CCAF combines credit earned from other accredited colleges and universities with Air Force technical training and professional military education in its degree program. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Attention All Active Military YOUR CALL HOME CIHROSTMAS.
