TFW Public Affairs Office Two reserve airmen received gold bars last month through the Deserving Airman Commissioning Program. 2nd Lt. Bruce A. Boyle, 405th Combat Logistics Support Squadron plans officer, previously held the rank of master sergeant before his early October pinning. The new lieutenant holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology and is pursuing a degree in physical therapy at the University of Utah. Lieutenant Boyle said his interest in the commissioning program was stimulated with officers he had worked with as NCOIC of the squadron's logistics section. "The opportunity arose and I thought it would be something worth striving for," he said. in mid-Octobe- r. As a reservist she is assigned as a general engineering officer for the 419th Civil Engineering Squadron. She is employed as a scientific analysis programmer for Hercules Inc., in Magna, Utah, where she assists engineers designing rocket motors. The former sergeant graduated two years ago from Brigham Young University, Provo, with a design engineering degree.
