At that time a bus shelter was constructed at the corner of Cedar and Arizona. Subsequently the route was changed and the bus no longer travels past this shelter; however, the shelter remains. It is not only confusing to employees thoroughly investigated. Ma. Gen. Marc C. Reynolds Commander, Ogden ALC who attend training classes in Bldg. 1279, it is also useless. Could the shelter be moved to the corner of Cedar and Arkansas if the route is going to remain as it is now? Isn't this in compromise of the Privacy Act? -- A Security Police use your Social Security number to a means of idenprovide positive tification for persons entering secure areas. s entering controlled or restricted areas must either possess an appropriate badge or be signed into the area on AF Form 1109, Visitors Log. AF Form 1109 requires the Social Security, number along with other data for positive identification. This form is not open to anyone. Other personnel being signed into the area have limited access to information on the form and that is to provide their personal information. No one is allowed to study the form or. record Social Security numbers from it. The Social Security number provides positive identification at the exclusion of all others. While it can be a minor inconvenience, I'm sure you will agree that base security and the ability to positively identify people justifies the use of the Social Security number. Per-son- changed the traffic pattern at the west gate and installed the left turn lane on M Street. This left turn lane makes it hazardous and illegal for the Green Line Bus to make the turn from Sixth Street to M Street on to Cedar Street. The bus shelter was not moved at the time of the route change because of the cost involved and the uncertainty of the permanent west gate traffic flow. It is anticipated that in the near future the traffic pattern at the west gate may be changed again and the route may again go past Bldg. 1279. These changes, together with the Pacer Protect program in the east area, have kept the shuttle route somewhat uncertain. Your comments are appreciated and will be considered as routes, stops and shelters are finalized. lighting, could one of the four lights be moved to help eliminate this problem, and the remaining three turned off to conserve energy? The Fourth Street lot is also in need of striping which would help eliminate the parking problem there. ". A The parking lot lighting in Area Thunderbird Park was designed for the future of C the area for a total sports complex. The current restroom and parking lot projects are only the initial phase in an effort to improve and develop the recreational potential of this area. This current phase has been completed. The lights are controlled by a circuit breaker in the-- ; latrine and are now turned off. The Fourth Street parking lot referred to is served by only two street lights and will require additional street lighting. The estimated cost to install this lighting is $5,000 and it will be programmed for accomplishment in fiscal 1986. The parking lot has been striped.
