A government vehicle operator received a citation after pulling in front of an. oncoming vehicle causing a collision resulting in $2,200 vehicle damage and personal injuries to the occupant of the oncoming vehicle. Driver inattentiveness caused a government vehicle to strike a fixed object which caused $825 damage. GARDEN WORK GETTING YOU Vandalism was also down this week with only one report. A resident in Area "F" housing reported that someone had scratched an "X" in the ' paint of his new vehicle. Persons observing such acts of destruction are asked to call Security Police. A noncommissioned officer was apprehended for failure to obey a lawful order, evasion and speeding after a patrol operated a RADAR clock and requested sentries to detain the vehicle. He swerved around the sentry and tried to exit the base but was then caught at the traffic light. He refused to produce identification and became abusive. He was apprehended and turned over to his squadron first sergeant for disciplinary action.
