Calvin Brethold Intramural Sports Publicity The regular league's season play in intramural flag football provided fans with some exciting moments, as well as surprising upsets. In the American League, RecN Services finished with a 10-- 1 record after defeating their closest rivals, 388 TFW, in a 15-- shutout. They took the league championship behind quarterback Dave Scripko who was the league leader with 19 touchdowns and Tom Balis, the league-leadin- g scorer 0 with 48 points. 388 TFW finished in second place with a 7-- 3 record, while Det. 440 third with and 388 EMS fourth with a record. In the National League a surprising upset and thrilling ending climaxed the season. On Nov. 3, 388 CRS played undefeated 2849. CES and dealt them . their first loss of the season This tied CES with the 388th AGS, who played 2849 SPS. In this game, SPS proved too loss much and the AGS fell to a which moved them out of the tie with 2849 CES.
