Show July Bicycle m mm brakes it ii i i i r: (Faulty ! mi is ii sensational ii ii iri i i If you own a bicycle that was made by the Huffy Corporation of Dayton, Ohio, between April 15 and May 15, put the brakes on gently. Then get off and see if you have one of the models sold : under the following brand names: Huffy, All Pro, J.C. Penney, Open Road, Coast King, Westpoint, Western Flyer, Woolco, or Performer. If you do, look for the code number on the left rear axle plate. If it begins with the letter "C" and the number behind that letter ranges from 81060 to 81360, then you could have a problem. Huffy has discovered that as many as 95,000 bicycles made in that time frame could have a defect that may cause injury, loss of control, or failure of the brake system. The defect may be found on any bicycles except the 5- -, 10- and bicycles made by Huffy between the dates. If all the pieces of this don't ride puzzle'fit, roll the bicycle to a Huffy service center, or the store you bought it from, for free inspection and repair. -, Heritage book to explain history new book on Air Force heritage entitled "A Few Great Captains" is now available from book stores, A and arm.
