Calvin Brethold Last week, the base intramural flag football teams held their first all-stgame that matched the best of the American League players against the top players of the National League. The National League emerged victorious with a 15-- 6 score. They were coached by Sergeant DiPasquale, Hospital, and Sergeant Landry, 2849th SPS. The American League was coached by Sergeant Lewis, 6514th Test, and Airman Pomeroy, 2849th HSS. The first quarter of the game was a duel of the defenses and both teams were scoreless for the first 15 minutes. At the start of the second quarter, National League player John Garrett, 388 AGS, started a drive and within eight minutes, found his favorite receiver, KyLe Jones, 388th AGS, to score six points on a pass play. He defeated Matt Scearce, 388th HSS, by a score of 150-6- 2. Eddie J Keating Winn came out victorious after two;days of play by USAF- - defeating four opponents before the fifth and final match.
