The program will run until 3 p.m. and there will no admission charge. On display will be an array of fighter, cargo, bomber and helicopter aircraft as well as missiles, rockets and other military hardware. The array of aircraft will include the Air Force's 5 Eagle Mach-2-plu- s fighter but will not 4 include the Navy Tomcat Fighter as previously announced. -- K F-1- There will be ample parking. Harry Schurr, Inspector General of the Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC), has briefed Maj. Gen. James P. Mullins, Ogden Air Center Commander, and 525 base supervisors and key personnel here on results of the Management Effectiveness Inspection Lc-gtetic- s (MED completed May 15. In attendance at the Monday outbrief in the Base Theater was Gen. Bryce Poe II, AFLC Commander. He said that the Ogden ALC has a "special place with me." General Poe was commander here from 1973 to 1974. "My feeling is that the operation here can never be just satisfactory," the general said. In his comments, General Mullins stated that the team had been thorough in its inspection and he encouraged managers to correct all deficiencies pointed out by Colonel Schurr's team as soon as possible, and in addition, to continue correcting deficiencies they find themselves. It will consolidate 350 military, civilian and contractor personnel now occupying seven separate facilities located in several areas on the east side of the base. The main floor, combined with present hangar space in Bldg. 1, will be aircraft and unmanned vehicle shop and work areas and will include about 30,000 square feet of high bay work areas.
