Air Force Outstanding Unit i 18, 1977 The 2849th Air Base Group earned their honor for the period Jan. 1, 1976 to Dec. 31, 1976. The 2701st Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron received their award for the period Jan. 1, 1975 to Dec. 31, 1976. Any military member assigned during these periods in either unit are entitled to wear the ribbon or add an oak leaf cluster to the ribbon, if it was previously awarded. .
