Q A When is the NCO Club membership going to be opened up to civilians again? form and is available at the south and west gates and at CBPO Customer Service. Additional civilian members cannot be accepted into the NCO Open Mess in the foreseeable future. Prior to completion of the new club facility, an extensive study During the open season for health benefits, I changed my insurance from Blue Cross to Alliance. If I retire in three years, am I going to be able to continue my health benefits orvvill they be discontinued? was made to determine the maximum membership Q that the new facility could normally support without creating crowded conditions. The maximum membership ceiling is 3,500 members. The club currently has more than 3,300 members of which 800 are civilian associate members. With improvements in club programming in activities and entertainment, we anticipate a constant increase in military membership. Realizing the important role the civilian members have played in the overall success the NCO Open Mess has enjoyed, it is regrettable that facility capability restricts us from accepting additional civilian members at this time. If military membership does not increase, as anticipated, consideration will be given to allowing associate membership for additional civilian personnel.
