Barnett Jr., has been chosen as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to Maj. Gen. McGuire AFB, New Jersey and Nha Trang and Da Nang Air Bases Vietnam. He came to Hill AFB in July, 1972, on duty with the 2952nd Combat Logistics Support Squadron. Md.; A. Edmund Rafalko, commander, Ogden Air Logistics Center. He replaces CMSgt. Robert E. Rogers, who will be leaving in the near future to assume duties of the Senior Enlisted Advisor to Gen. F. Michael Rogers, Air Force Logistics Command headquarters, AFB, Ohio. Wright-Patterso- n Reflecting on his new position, Chief Barnett said, "I think its the best job on the base. I want to do a good job of representing the enlisted population here, help them all I can and assist them with any problems." A native of Evansville, Ind., he attended elementary schools there and graduated from Elberfeld High School, Elberfeld, Ind. He entered the Air Force in August, 1952, taking his basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex. attended automotive school and mechanics automotive electrician courses at Francis E. Warren AFB, Wyo., and graduated from the Technical Instructor CMSgt. Jesse T. Barnett like the Air Force life", and traded his civilian coveralls for those of the Air Force in May, 1957. He was subsequently selected as the wing enlisted advisor last January and has served there until now. Chief Barnett is married to the former Bonnie L. Barrett, Evansville, Ind. They are parents of four living children, sons, Herbert W., serving with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS England and Jimmie A, an eighth grader at North Layton School. Junior High Daughters are Laura J., a senior at Layton High School; and Rhonda F., a sophomore. Clentls Educator, Lavmaker to speak Federal Women's Programs highlight week's activities Hispanic, 0. taught Dr. Richard Ulibarri, dean of Continuing Education and professor of History at Weber State College in Ogden will be featured speaker at the Hispanic Heritage Week banquet next Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the base NCO club. Born in McPhee, Colo., Dr. Ulibarri attended public schools in Weber County, Utah. He earned a B.A. degree in History and Spanish from the University of Utah at Salt Lake City in 1957 and a Ph.D. in United States, Western and Latin American History from the same institution in 1963. Lecturer - Coach Dr. Ulibarri has been a lecturer on History at the University of Nevada, Drury College, Springfield, Mo., College School of the Ozarks, Branson, Mo. and Weber State College. He has also been a baseball coach and associate professor of History at Evangel College, Springfield, Mo.
