Hill Forecasters Tops at Predicting the Veather When the Hill AFB weathermen say it's going to rain or snow you'd better believe it! The local forecasters are so good at calling the weather that they are in first place in a weather forecasting contest. Detachment 3, 24th Weather Squadron, at Hill AFB is leading in the western division of the Forecasters Jamboree in the second week of competition. The league elimination round produced three winners from the west and five from the east. Western division winners are Hill AFB, Mather AFB, Calif.; and Williams AFB, Ariz. Eastern winners are Moody AFB, Ga.; Chanute AFB, 111.; Maxwell AFB, Ala.; Craig AFB, Ala.; and Ke'ly AFB, Tex. Maj.
