Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Military and civilian personnel may bid and buy. Items are now on display and may be inspected from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, except weekends. Over 330 items will be offered such as tables, chairs, desks, miscellaneous electrical hardware, sewing machines, lawn mowers, flying jackets, etc. Most items offered have been used and require repair. A complete list of items offered, as well as sale terms and conditions, may he reviewed in Bldg. 890. Mailed bids cannot be accepted. Buyers must be present and registered in order to bid. The display is being exhibited in Packing and Preservation, Building 800, Warehouse 7B until today. Then the display will be airlifted to the Joint Military Packaging Training C e n te r, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Aim of the AFLC display is to place more emphasis on proper packaging, handling, marking and shipping of dangerous Get that cool, unruffled look! Dangerous materials, which include explosives, corrosive acids, radioactive materials, and flammable liquids, require a special protection and handling technique to preclude damage to the carrier vehicle and injury to personnel.
