Giving a hearty welcome to the new and previous bowlers of the 1056-5- 7 season are league officers, Pat Royster, president; Romona Whipettes 10 6 Becker, vice president; Fern Wiland Doroson, secretary-treasure- r, thy Thorup, reporter. Other committees designated for Statuetts this season are Trophy committee, Mary Nelson, Alice Spake, and Nan Ansell. Party Committee: Roma Goff, Mary Imaizumi, and Dona Smith. Ross, (above) foreman of Optics Repair Unit, brought down this deer with a bow and arrow while on a special deer hunt at Ashley National Forest. A single arrow at 40 yards did the trick. The deer, which weighed 180 pounds dressed, had five points on one side of his antlers and seven on the other. Lucky Strikes Cordetts Alley Cats Whipettes Hotrodders Bob Finley Wins Out In COUAC'S Tennis Tournament Airman 1c Robert F. Finley, Hill's 1956 singles tennis champion, recently gave another convincing demonstration of his talents on the courts when he won out in the doubles event at CONAC's tennis tourney. The matches, at held Brooks AFB, Tex., saw Finley and his partner and Gene er, A2c Zelazney down a strong duo from the 14th AF. Besides the Hill title, he also carved out a tennis title while stationed at AFB, Greenland in 1955. Besides racking up an impressive scholastic record in biological sciences, he was prominent in sports.
