Show Thursday, December 13, 1956 THE Christmas mail will probably reach an all time record this year so we urge all of our patrons to mail soon as they possibly can. Many Christmas cards each year cannot be delivered because they are not properly addressed. Make sure your Christmas card list has a full name, street number, city, zone number If used, and state. Write legibly and it is a very good idea to put a return address on your cards when writing to old friends. They would apyour address. The use of preciate first-clapostage (3c) insures forwarding . service if the addressee has moved, or the card will be returned to you if the recipient cannot be located If you use your return address. Then, too, on Christmas cards sent by first class mail, you can include hand written messages making the greeting far more personal and valued. The card can also be sealed. Christmas cards which are larg er than 9 x 12 inches or smaller than 2 34 x 4 inches, or with any attachments must be sent by first class mail because such cards require hand cancellation. Do not use Christmas seals oi stickers on the front of letters or parcels. Leave the front clear for address and postage.
