Each league plays two evenings a week, and with the Nephl entrant In the Cen tral Utah league playing at Nephl on Wednesdays and out of town on bundays, each day with the ex ception of Saturday, Is on the recreational calendar, according to El mo Brady, who is directing the recreational work. The Soft ball league Is composed of teams irom the battery E., Junior chamber of commerce, J. C Penney Co., Playground, The Toggery and the Kiwanis club. These games will be played at the playground diamonds each Tuesday and Thursday evenings, at 5 P. M. The Junior league baseball is played on Monday and Friday evenings at 5 P. M.. and the league Is composed of teams sponsored by the Nephi Kiwanis club; Junior chamber of commerce,; Nephi Post Number 1 of the American Legion and Russell Hawkins, local Texaco to our O. P. The purpose of these special Thursday afternoon scout meetings will be to help the boys in their advancement program, to help them to prepare their equipment for the big week in camp that will come in August, and to help the boys work out any problem or activities that may interest them. The place Is the high school campus, and the time is each Thursday from 2 to 5 P. M. This summer it is also arranged that each of the three troops of Nephi Is to have at least one over night hike each month. The dates for June have been set as follows: June 11 and 12, for the Nephi ward, Troop 132; June 18 and 19, for the South ward. Troop 131 and June 25 and 26 for the North ward, Troop 133. Remember Scouts, be ready. It is also planned that as soon as the swimming pool is opened there will be one afternoon each week when only the Scouts are admitted.
